🚕 Bali airport taxi: Grab, Bluebird or transfer

Getting out of DPS: Grab/Gojek prices, metered Bluebird, a Visio transfer, pickup rules and red zones.

Destinations from the airport: Kuta/Legian, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Seminyak, Umalas/Kerobokan, Sanur, Canggu/Berawa, Pererenan/Seseh/Munggu, Uluwatu/Pecatu/Ungasan, Ubud, Tanah Lot/Kedungu/Tabanan, Candidasa, Amed, Lovina.

Three options (example: Kuta/Legian)

  • Grab / Gojek: IDR 80,000–150,000 — usually the cheapest. A saved reference range, not a live fare: check the app for the actual price. Add an airport exit fee of about IDR 10,000–12,000 plus any toll. Order once you are standing in the Pick Up Zone.
  • Bluebird: metered, or booked in the MyBluebird app. Official taxis wait at the arrivals kerb and take cash. Ask for the meter or agree the fare before getting in. Tolls and parking may be added.
  • Visio private transfer: IDR 300,000, a fixed price agreed before landing — no meter, no bargaining. The driver holds your name at arrivals and waits if your flight is late.

Airport pickup rules

  • Only the airport's Koptax taxi cooperative may pick up at the arrivals kerb.
  • Grab passengers walk to the GrabCar Lounge in the Pick Up Zone; Gojek uses its Instant Point in the same area.
  • Booking from inside the arrivals hall doesn't work.

"Red zones"

Near some temples, beach clubs and central Ubud, local transport cooperatives block app pickups. If Grab or Gojek shows no drivers, or your driver asks you to walk about 200 metres to meet them, that is normal local practice, not a scam.
